1. General description 

This service description applies to the Android and IOS application-based service provided by MusicFairyTales MFT Oy (2962907-2).

2. Concepts 

2.1 Service Provider

The Service Provider is MusicFairyTales MFT Ltd, the developer and publisher of the Service, and has the ownership and intellectual property rights in the Service.

2.2 Subscriber

The company, government entity, educational institution or organization that has acquired the license. The Subscriber grants access to the Application to its Authorised Users and is responsible for payment of any fees for use of the Application and for compliance with the Terms of Use.

2.3. Service

The Service refers to Feel & Play, a cognitive skills education application for Android and IOS operating systems.

2.4. End User. The End Users are: 

(a) Employees of Subscriber; or

(b) Students of the Subscriber’s educational institution; or

(c) Registered customers using the Application on the Subscriber’s premises or guests    using the Application with the Subscriber’s permission.

(d) Patients/clients in a treatment relationship with the Subscriber.

3. Feel & Play service description 

The Feel & Play application is designed to support the subscriber’s pedagogical needs related to emotional and artistic education, the promotion of multiple literacies and therapy work, and works on both multi-touch screens and tablets on Android/iOS.

Feel & Play is an inspiring and engaging musical adventure app that includes visual storytelling, collaborative mini-games, fantasy instruments and musical painting. It helps children to better identify, regulate and express their emotions. Adults can also use the app to assess emotional skills.

4. Community/business use 

4.1. Purchase of Feel & Play 

Feel & Play can be purchased for community or business use by contacting the service provider’s customer service by phone, email or via the website’s subscription service. The subscriber will receive an activation code for the application for the use of his/her community/company only, as well as a download link to download the application to the terminal devices of the IOS or Android operating systems. There is no limit to the number of terminals that can access the application but the license agreement dictates the number of devices that are allowed to have the installment of the application.

4.2. Outlook 

Feel & Play consists of three parts:

The main menu contains the three sections of the application, Story, Fantasy Player and Music Painting. The main menu also contains the language options. The demo includes one story available in Finnish and in English. In addition to the story, the app demo includes one fantasy instrument and one musical painting scene.

User management: the application does not yet have a separate user management.

5. Technical features 

5.1 Technical requirements 

The application works on multi-touch screens and tablets: Android and IOS. Android version 5.1. To download the IOS app, you need to install Apple’s Testflight app.

5.2. Server Platform

Feel & Play is hosted on Google Firebase, an application development and cloud service based in Sweden.

6. Data Security

6.1 Legal requirements 

The Feel & Play service has been designed and produced in compliance with the legal requirements for data security and data protection. A privacy policy has been drawn up for the processing of personal data.

6.2. Mandatory information 

Feel & Play does not collect any user data.

6.3 Use of data 

User data may only be used for customer support or other purposes related to the use of the service and may only be disclosed to third parties in aggregate form without user identifiers. No personal data or usage data of end-users will be disclosed to third parties. The service provider will never be in direct contact with the end user and in case of error, end users should first contact their account administrator.

6.4. Access to data 

Only those employees whose job requires them to process customer data are authorized to log into the subscriber’s Feel & Play account in order to provide customer support. Each employee has his/her own username and password for the system. The databases and their back-ups are located in locked premises and are accessible only to certain pre-designated persons.
