Duration of processing 

We will stop actively processing your data when the customer relationship for which we need the data ends. We may retain some data after this time (e.g. for accounting purposes), but we will stop retaining all customer-related data no later than 6 years after the end of the customer relationship. We will record the information as we receive it from the data subject and will update it as and when the data subject notifies the controller.  

For marketing purposes, personal data will in principle be kept for two (2) years, after which we will delete the data.

Right of access and rectification  

You have the right to review the information we process about you. If you find any inaccuracies or omissions in your data, you can ask us to correct or complete the data.  

Right to object  

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time if you believe that we have processed your personal data unlawfully (for example, we have not ensured adequate data security) or that we are not entitled to process some of your personal data. If you object to the processing of your data, we will stop processing your personal data (except for storage)until a decision regarding its legality has been reached. 

Direct marketing ban  

You have the right to object at any time to us using your data for direct marketing. We will never sell or otherwise disclose your personal data to other parties to enable them to target you with direct marketing.  

We obtain online advertising from Facebook and Google, among others. However, these companies never receive your personal data and such advertising is not direct marketing, but is based on cookies. See the section on cookies for more details. 

Right of withdrawal  

If you feel that the processing of some of your personal data is not necessary for our purposes, you have the right to ask us to delete this data. We will process your request, after which we will either delete your data or provide you with a reasoned justification why it cannot be deleted. If you disagree with our decision, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Ombudsman (instructions on how to lodge a complaint). You also have the right to request that we restrict the processing of the disputed data until we have resolved the matter.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Ombudsman if you believe that we are in breach of applicable data protection law when we process your personal data (instructions on how to lodge a complaint). 

Regular sources of information 

Customer-related data is collected primarily from the customer themselfwhen registering and logging in, ordering products, requesting quotations, requesting trial runs, participating in competitions and customer surveys, and from other persons within the same work community. 

Disclosure of data 

Your personal data will be processed by a number of other parties in addition to us (personal data processors). We have ensured that all parties processing your personal data comply with data protection legislation.

Principles for the protection of the register 

The secure processing of your personal data is important to us. We have protected your data by, among others, the following methods: 

  • Your data cannot be accessed by anyone who does not need to see it for their job duties. Access requires a username and password. Our staff and service providers are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of your information. 
  • We encrypt data transmission connections. 
  • We store data on servers that are strongly protected against both technical and physical intrusion attempts, including natural disasters. 
  • Data is regularly backed up.
